The answer is yes, it’s going to. Redmi has yet to verify Redmi TV’s India launch date/timeline, but it seems that Redmi GM has disclosed that the 70-inch Redmi TV will be coming to India. Redmi GM, Lu Weibing verified this bit of data in an interaction with the Indian media after the launch case.
In China, Redmi TV’s price is set at 3799 yuan, which is roughly Rs 38,000. Despite the unknown Indian price, it is believed for now that there may not be a huge difference between the price of China and India. This implies that Redmi TV can cost in the nation around Rs 40,000. Redmi TV comes packed with 4K HDR, Dolby Audio, 3 HDMI, 2 USB, Amlogic SoC, and Dual-band WiFi.
As for Redmi TV’s specs, there’s a 70-inch 4K HDR display on the side with slim bezels. It is driven by a quad-core Amlogic 64 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. Redmi TV has 2.4G/5 G, Bluetooth 4.2, 3 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports for connectivity.
On the front of the software, Redmi TV operates on the PatchWall operating system based on Android. Dolby Audio and DTS HD are also supported.
